Each year, the Tempest Awards shines a spotlight on the innovation driving the competitive gaming industry. From production, marketing, talent, and technology—the Tempest Awards acknowledges each key component making up the entire esports ecosystem.

Entry Rules

The Tempest Awards are open to individuals and teams worldwide including: networks, MSOs, teams, leagues, associations, universities, production companies/studios, producers, video game developers/producers, website developers, app developers/producers, licensing companies, marketing companies, PR firms, ad agencies, creative services teams, developers and more. Vendors are also eligible to enter on behalf of clients.

The program is open to both national and international entrants. Campaigns must have launched or debuted between August 1, 2021-July 15, 2022. Multiple entries are accepted, and a single entry can be entered into more than one category. Entrants may submit as many campaigns into as many categories as they wish.


Entries will be judged by key leaders across the esports industry.

Entry Deadlines

Early Bird Deadline: July 8
Entries received by 11:59 PM ET on July 8 cost $350

Regular Deadline: August 12
Entries received by 11:59 PM ET on August 12 cost $450

Late Deadline: August 26
Entries received by 11:50 PM ET on August 26 cost $600 


Entering the Tempest Awards is even easier when you prepare your submission items in advance. See below for what you’ll need to have for each entry. Note: You’ll be able to review all entry questions and save your progress within the system as you go.

  • Submitter contact information (point person for all entry details. This is the person we should contact with any questions related to the entry and announcements about the Tempest Awards)
  • Hi-res logo (for the individual’s company or client associated with the entry. AI or EPS file types required.)
  • 3 photos required (jpg, jpeg or png required)
  • Recap or sizzle video (not required but strongly recommended. mp4, mov or wmv required. No YouTube or Vimeo links accepted.)
